Product Description:

Wastebasket is an Applescript application which mimics behaviour of the Desktop Trash Icon in Mac OS Now Ejects disks too. How do I use Wastebasket? Copy the Wastebasket Application to your Desktop. Any Files dropped on Wastebasket will be moved to the Trash. Any Disks you drop on Wastebasket will be ejected. If you double click on Wastebasket it will open the Trash Folder. That's all it does. Nothing more, nothing less.

What's new in this version:

  • Now ejects disks as well as moving files to the trash

as described in 10.2. Can be placed in toolbar also. Just needs an "empty trash" shortcut and would be 5 stars!

a given item, drag it to the Wastebasket trash, and am then threatened with the imminent disposal of my entire desktop, or other errant file or folder. Not every time. But sporadically. What is amiss with v. 1.1?
