Product Description:
MLayout 2 is a DTP application built from the ground up on Mac OS X. Fully exploiting the object-oriented Cocoa base and Macintosh's legendary ease of use, MLayout 2 is the DTP application for the rest of us. MLayout 2 takes advantage of fast, high-quality rendering of PDF by Mac OS X's Quartz, unicode-based multilingual support, and the automated pagination based on XML and tagged RTF. Also, the support for math equations, tables, Japanese rubi, and the direct to Web publishing features make it an easy choice for a novice and a power user alike.

I have found support to be quick and very helpful. I am using MLayout regularly on a number of jobs and now I am more used to it it is stable and working well. Some of the conventions were a little different, took some getting used to. The 1.59 is a lot more stable than 1.58. It is a very versatile layout tool and has its own way of producing web output from the finished pages. I tried Stone Create but couldn’t get it to work, not helped by an arcane system of 14 day licences. I think MLayout has great potential, especially if they drop the price a bit.
I'm impressed that there are such OSX developers in Seoul.
I think I must buy a copy now, especially since Quark wants over 1,000 dollars just for their buggy software to use Korean.
