The lack of support is appalling. There could at least be a FAQ list. I feel that I have a good tool and want to learn more about it; to whom do I turn to answer the questions? What about providing a manual? I have no means of knowing if the virus search still effective as there does not appear to have been any discernible update for nearly three years (7.11.2003)

MacAnalysis X CommentaryDO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. COMPANY SEEMS NONEXISTANT - Version: 2.3.2, 7/23/2005 04:47PM PST

I purchased this product several years ago, and it was decent, but very buggy. Also, they have the worst serialization method around. They treat their customers like criminals. I recently purchased a new machine, and needed to get my license transferred.

The website http://www.macanalysis.com/ simply leads to a blank page, and emails to their support team go unanswered. They have not updated the product since Nov-2003.

MacAnalysis X ReviewWhat a waste of good money... - Version: 2.3.2, 2/8/2005 04:11PM PST

I'd love to give a positive review, but I have not received my serial number. I used their ridiculas activation system, and didn't get my serial number. This so called activation system doesn't give you a second or third try for that matter -- it mearly tells you that you already received your serial number. They do not return emails (ever) and there's no way of contacting them by telephone. This company is by far the worst excuse for software security -- it's kind of ironic that a security developer is commiting fraud and getting away with it.

MacAnalysis X Reviewwarning: buggy software, no customer service or support! - Version: 2.3.2, 12/31/2004 10:25AM PST

MacAnalysis provides a wonderful front-end for many different security tools and utilities that are scattered around the net and/or pre-installed with Mac OS X. It also adds some unique security vulnerability assessments that are really great.

The problem: this is one of the buggiest Mac apps I've ever dealt with! It crashes at the end of nearly every security scan, unfortunately right before the scan report is able to save. This makes it practically useless.

I feel ripped off, having paid the $55 for the full version. Multiple emails to the support address have gone completely unanswered.

Save your cash for something else! A good book on security and a few open source security tools will serve you much better.

MacAnalysis X CommentarySecond vote for lack of customer service - Version: 2.3.2, 12/23/2004 11:57PM PST

The application seems fine but I am completely disgusted with the lack of response I've received from the developers. It's situations like this I find the most frustrating. Liking an app and being disillusioned with the provider.

MacAnalysis X ReviewTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE..... - Version: 2.3.2, 12/17/2004 11:19AM PST

I must say the product seems solid enough but after my experience or "lack there of" with the developers I highly recommend that no one do business with these people. I spent a good deal of money on their products and yet cannot seem to get a response of any kind from the staff. Really too bad.

While it has its limitations and lack of stability, I say without hesitation that this is one of the best purchase I have ever made. it includes everything I expect a security tool to have. I don't understand people who complain about the delay in the delivery of the serial, i've received mine in one minute.. it's an AUTOMATIC process !

And it's one of those rare apps that's fun to play around with. It provides a good education for the newbie user and should meet the demands of the more demanding, experienced user. This software is awesome !

MacAnalysis X ReviewHorrible support. Buggy Software. - Version: 2.3.2, 3/4/2004 09:40AM PST

I've been using this software on and off for over a year now. Initially I was hopeful the bugs I continuously ran into would be fixed as the product matured. Unfortunately this hasn't been the case. MacAnalysis has so much potential and many great features -- it's too bad the developer seems unable to address it's stability problems and seemingly endless number of bugs.
Additionally, this company/developer provides absolutely NO SUPPORT what so ever. Repeat email go unanswered and their site (despite looking nice) provides little to no real detailed product or support information.
Unless you feel like being scammed for $55 I would definitely advice against purchasing this product.
