world, there is a big void between the free iMovie2 and the $1,000 Final Cut Pro, this application can be a good choice. Where iMovie created jaggies in my jpg still images, MovieWorks did not. MovieWorks allows more control over your import/export options, whereas iMovie just crams your stills in with little information about whats going on. However, the MovieWorks interface is clunky. Lets just hope they make enough profit on the Apple side to continue support and development. Oh yea, when running the updater, a dialog informed me the application could not be updated. What's up with that?

way to get into multimedia. Does tons of stuff for simple productions, including multiple simultaneous movies. Fix the ragged text, ya'll, and you get five-stars. Fixing the text might mean using more of the stuff available to OS X developers. I work around the ragged text by importing it as bit maps from OmniGraffle.
