Apple iPhoto CommentarySome thoughts ... - Version: 7.1.4, 7/23/2008 01:12AM PST

Hello,

it would be nice to integrate the keyword palette into the main window under "Information". Editing the keywords for a photo in the rather small textfield is a bit difficult.

Having a list of assigned keywords for a selected photo directly under the "Information" tab would be more user-friendly.

I am missing a quick and simple way under iPhoto for zooming in and out a selected photo. Clicking the "Edit" button prior to zooming in and out is a bit confusing.

I like the simplicity of the application.

Having a single file (with package content) for the entire library and all the user settings is a very user friendly approach and makes it very easy for a user to create a backup.

It would be nice to have the same approach for Apple Mail for example.

graphically & sincerely,

Marc Klein

Apple iPhoto CommentarySorry to be so Petty - Version: 7.1.4, 7/22/2008 10:48PM PST

BUTT, I just upgraded to iPhoto 7.0 from everyone's favorite tracker which I send 6.00 a month to support them for saving me thousands of dollars. Don't get me wrong, I've paid more than my share for software.

And yes, I can update iPhoto. After I do a clone with SuperDuper, I'll do a QuickTime 7.5 update. That way I will be able to reverse easy this time.

If I wanted I could have had a full iLife 08 or anything else I wanted. If I put my mind to it, I could take over a small country.

I think it's great Petty has a pair of goody two shoes, as for myself, I'm a barbarian. I come from 15,000+ years of Barbarians.

We aren't about to stop pillaging now.

As for iPhoto, I think it's an awesome application. I like iTunes and iMovie as well. I don't have any use for other stuff in iLife and iWork. I quess pages is alright, I have it, just haven't used it yet.

The thing I need the most is a new computer. I was holding out waiting for Apple to let all the other computer makers install their system software. The talk in the grapevine is, that's why Apple went Intel and has been tweaking their System software to take over the world of computers. Soon Microsoft will be out of the computer market and into Game stations only. Gates got his money and is getting old, so he could care less, and most likely after the Vista flop, he saw the writing on the wall.

Apple iPhoto CommentaryUpdate Works For Me... - Version: 7.1.4, 7/22/2008 04:27PM PST

I can't believe I have to write this, but all the current iLife applications first require the purchase of wait for it.... iLife '08. No free lunch here. Buy it, then you can update the apps.

iPhoto works great for me, many new options came with iPhoto 7 that I enjoy. I don't enjoy the dumbing down of iMovie and consequently have kept an older version on my Mac, in addition to the most recent.
