Product Description:

This is Quake II for Mac OS X. This release includes the software and OpenGL renderer plug-ins.

What's new in this version:

Rewritten event handler. Solves performance problems that some users were experiencing.
Rewritten audio CD driver. Solves issue with interrupted audio CD playback that some users were experiencing.
Added support for MP3 and MP4 playback.
Added texture RAM check. Quake II will revert to the software renderer on failure.
Added option to switch between normal and overbright gamma (variable"gl_overbright_gamma").
Added again support for the multitexture extension.
Mission packs can now be dragged onto the application icon even if Quake II is already running.
Added startup dialog for command-line parameters.
Added support for AppleScript.
New help.
F12 key will no longer eject medias if you bind a command to it.
Many minor changes.

Fantastic to see you back and working on the OSX versions of these Apps, though they have stood up to the many OSX revs this is the only one that had got a little techy!

Come on guys, fix the download link so I don't get a screen load of data. Even if I use the alternative download link I still get a screenload of data.
