Product Description:

Choose a key and MacBard generates random "songs". MacBard creates chord sequences for a verse, chorus and bridge. It simply lists the names of the chords and leaves the performance up to you. Fun for jamming and just noodling around, but also useful to help break out of a creative rut when songwriting.

What's new in this version:

This first beta release generates songs which are strictly in-key. Future versions will include chords with accidentals, such as V of V, neopolitan 6th, etc.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

MacBard ReviewDoesn't really do anything… - Version: 0.2b, 1/3/2004 05:29AM PST

useful that is. The software works fine, but all it does is issue random chord sequences in a key, with production instructions like 'angry guitar'. You could just as well pick your own random chords and random instructions. If you are desperate to use a computer to do it, Sticky notes is all you really need.

some musical playback is involved. What this is is essentially an applied MadLibs. Whee?
