Product Description:

SuiteModeler composes Cocoa AppleScript suites:
  • Presents a suite as a tree of table views with keywords as the column headers.
  • Unifies the presentation of the definition and terminology files.
  • "Knows" the keywords and defaults, and enforces constraints.
  • Flags errors such as misspelled types (e.g., NSNumber protocols: Bool or bool? Int or int? ...).
  • Uses text coloration to separate "signal" from "background". Default entries appear in gray. Unresolved forward references appear in red. References with multiple resolutions appear in blue.
  • Resolves references across opened documents.
  • Emits 'naive' Objective-C files for the classes (*.h, *.m) and enumerations (*.h).
  • Flags conflicts multiple values of Apple Event Codes associated with an external name (avoids "stump the experts" problems at run-time).
  • Guides the user rapidly to a successful implementation.
  • Use SuiteModeler to compose your new AppleScript suite, then use the emitted files as a starting point for your PB project.

    • What's new in this version:

    • Catches conflicts of Apple Event Codes and External names -- avoid those "Stump the Experts" problems at run-time.
    • version 1.7 beta identifies poorly composed To-Many relationships and emits object specifier methods as categories.
    • Example project available: build an app from a suite.
    • Free upgrade for licensed users.

    Alas, will not work on Intel Macs. and the developer's site now just leads to a .Mac file sharing page with no suitemodeler. It's a shame too, some of us still want to support scripting in 10.3.

    minutes, solved a subtle, undocumented problem in Create's AppleScript, that had plagued me for months. This program can save you many gray hairs!
