Product Description:

Captain FTP sets the mark with new technology advances, and is the very first FTP Client to allow local network FTP users to share files directly between each other. The challenge behind this concept is to provide users with a platform to share their work, and collaborate on projects before their work is published on a remote FTP Server, particularly benefiting business users or groups of users, who can share their work securely, privately, and quickly.

Amazon S3 backup and storage service.
Synchronization scheduling (using TM).
Generating HTTPS link for Amazon files.
WebDav editing remote documents.
Automatically email a URL link to a remote file/folder.
Duplicate entry in Address Book.
Additional editor for user specified file types.
Add entry from Quick Connect to Address Book.
Address Book search.
Changes in Quick Connect dialog
show password.
Shift arrow for changing tabs.
Offline browsing and file listing for Amazon, WebDav.
Files/folders can be dragged out from Find results dialog (to download or editing).

See Title above - Captain FTP 6.2 will not launch on Tiger - Developer Site indicates that 6.1 is the last version with Tiger support.

really good and ease to use application from xdsnet - they have done quite well job! so much FTP apps out there - and only some like captainFTP are compatible to different servers and protocols.

i am using captain FTP also with crowznest as FTP forward to send multiple pictures to several media clients when out of office (and meanwhile also when i am in office!)

i just have to upload my pictures over mobile connection once, then put them in some hot folder - and the files run over broadband simultaneous to all defined client FTP servers.
(email is no alternative because not running directly into archive)

and if problems occur - i really get feedback and solutions back! so i can just recommend their software.

also use isoftphone from xdsnet for VOIP

Use Captain for years now but version 6.0020 is very buggy and constantly crashes especially if you use sftp.

hope it will be fixed soon as at the current stage it's not usable for me.
