Crashes?

I get a lot of crashing with this product. At least once per session, most recently with very small files (< 10M). Any one else finding the same? Otherwise, I really like the interface, usability, etc. I don't like the crashing. I'd still recommend it, it's a good alternative to other FTP client.
Refreshing!

I love the look and feel of osXigen. I tried Transmit, Fetch, and ftp Thingy. It was a toss up between osXigen and Transmit 2. osXigen won me over simply because of the beautiful aqua interface including drawers, and customizable tool-bar (in the same manner as Mail). They both performed just as well with tests of 6 and 32 MB files. Both achieved the same transfer rates.
Decent, but not great

z4v3nThis software has some usability issues. For example, why can't I access my bookmarked sites from the Connect dialogue box? Also there doesn't seem to be any way to cancel a connection in progress, it just hangs for a long time if the server isn't found.
Unfortunately, this is the best FTP app I've been able to find for OSX. It is still nowhere near as good as several similar (free) programs for Windows. When are we going to have a decent FTP client for OSX?
It Works

using 10.2.8 I had uploaded my bosses file within 1 minute of downloading. I spent 30 mins finding other share/freeware that did not work. BTW: Thanks for version tracker USER reviews, I trust this stuff 100 times more than any magazine or paid reviews /advertising. Keep up the good work. User Reviews pave the way to better software.
The very best

I have been using this product since my IP went SFTP. As Fetch was a favorite of mine, I looked at everything that was listed on VT. For my requirements this application was a no brainer. It works as advertised, is flexible, and looks good in the process.
proper piece of work

Does everything I need it to do, and with style. Took me less than 10 minutes to purchase.

a huge security flaw - when opening a file in BBEdit, the file path has the password embedded. This is wrong, wrong, wrong!

the author about issues with the file replacement behavior and I also got a brush-off explaining why his way is better. Apparently his customers are wrong. I want a simple preference that asks whether I want to replace files of the same name or not. Don't try to make your product more intuitive than my intentions. You can't. I'm hopeful to see it simplified.

the author (after I'd paid) asking if he'd consider an option NOT to display the same-size/date warning that you get when you're making small tweaks and uploading quickly. He replied, "This is really not necessary. For a file to be considered equal it has to have the same size and the date stamps must be equal or the source file older." Nice brush off Jorge, but my client is setup properly and the TZ is set. I get those all the time when I make fast and small changes (like in CSS) and it's starting to waste my time and p-ss me off. My previous higher ratings will stay, but this new one is based on many more hours of use. Please reconsider, thanks.
purchase was a breeze and got the email immediately after transaction was complete.
2 thumbs up!
