Product Description:

InfoDog is an Interface enhancement for OSX to fill some of the gaps left by the built in "Get Info" command. With InfoDog, you can:
  • Set creator and type
  • Change unix file privleges
  • Drag file path info from InfoDog to any application.
  • Change Owner and Group info
  • InfoDog has an integrated file browser
  • Supports Drag and drop to and from info windows.
InfoDog is accessed by pressing Command-Shift-I with a file or folder selected in the finder.

What's new in this version:

  • Improved folder size calculation speed and reliability

i like the way it's not in the dock - and all the info is great. it'd be nice to be able to set a file as invisible

but the Get Info windows are much more informative in Jaguar, which makes it unnecessary. Works great on 10.1 though. And I like the way it runs in the background, so it doesn't take up dock space.

really really miss from OS9 what that the URL of a jpg or gif that I dragged from a browser would appear in the get info box. for collage art that I do this was rather useful - but OSX doesn;t do it, sadly. jp
