Deimos Rising Troubleshooting ReportFTP thru Terminal always works - Version: 1.0.6, 1/28/2004 07:39AM PST

I agree with those that describe how bad it is trying to download Ambrosia stuff with the browser. FTP thru the Terminal has yet to fail me and it is quick. The update I started when I began writing this is already done.
Open Terminal and type FTP.
Next type <open ftp.ausmac.net>
type "anonymous" when you see the line <Name (ftp.ausmac.net:your.name):> appear. You can type just about anything for your e-mail address when prompted.

Navigate your way to the Ambrosia folder by using the command <cd pub/mac/Mirrored-SW/MacGameFiles/ambrosia>
Type <ls> (that is LS lower case) to LiSt the folders in the current directory
Type <get "name.of.your.desired.update> and let 'er rip.

Deimos Rising Troubleshooting ReportUpdate doesn't work - Version: 1.0.6, 1/24/2004 11:57AM PST

Followed the instructions to update exactly as listed in the Read Me.txt file.
I get the following error:

"Sorry, but this version of Deimos Rising is incompatible with your game data.
Please ensure that you have a complete installation."

I downloaded the file that is for use with the Apple Bundle (the version I have).
The previous update I applied (1.04) works fine.
