images of objects with highly complex contours and transparent areas are masked automatically with incredible perfection that is impossible to achieve in software like for example mask pro.
Maskerade saved me more than a weeks work in a single job. (in my case: masking more than 140 wild-hairy fur-caps)
The production of the photos itself need the most attention. (see description of the author) but i did not experience any major complaints by the photographer concerning the two photos per object + the fiddling around with the backgrounds.
These are the restrictions you have to bear in mind: Photos have to be made to meet the softwares requirements, objects and camera have to remain completely still for the two photos and it should be possible to set up most of the object in front of a changeable background.
if a project fits all these restrictions, do yourself a favour and try this tool. Its worth every dime.
Suggestion for the developer: for larger amounts of photos i miss a batch process feature.
