Product Description:

The basic objective of a player in Orbituary is to knock the other players off the screen while staying on the screen yourself. You control a coloured ball, which has the mysterious ability to attatch itself to a number of "nodes" which are floating in the arena. By attatching and detatching with the correct timing, you can manovre your way around the arena quickly and accurately.

Orbituary features many game types, including Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Race.

What's new in this version:

Framerate management more intelligent; will run more smoothly on most machines.
Bots now use shotgun powerup effectively.
Shotgun powerup changed slightly.

I have been using an older version of orbituary (1.05 I think) - am about to download the latest. It's the most fun you can have on your computer USING ONLY ONE KEY!?!?! I prefer puzzle games and simple games.

Playing Orbituary usually has me crying with laughter. Brilliant game, simple, but with many variations. My level editor didn't work though - I hope it will be fixed now!

OK, another minor update uploaded.

This one adds an extra option which allows you to enable/disable sounds in various cominations, so you can specifically disable announcer sounds if they are annoying you :-).

one thing i don't understand is why, in arcade mode, i hear the same thing - it's a guy saying what sounds like, "i won the round" - whether i win the round or the computer does. it gets incredibly annoying after a while, hearing the same phrase repeated once every five to ten seconds...
