OK, another minor update uploaded.
This one adds an extra option which allows you to enable/disable sounds in various cominations, so you can specifically disable announcer sounds if they are annoying you :-).

one thing i don't understand is why, in arcade mode, i hear the same thing - it's a guy saying what sounds like, "i won the round" - whether i win the round or the computer does. it gets incredibly annoying after a while, hearing the same phrase repeated once every five to ten seconds...

That bug is consistent with a missing preferences or level file.
I have uploaded a version which will tolerate a missing preferences file and report errors more accurately for a missing level file. Apologies for any problems.

A little more polish and I would pay for this game!
Playing Orbituary usually has me crying with laughter. Brilliant game, simple, but with many variations. My level editor didn't work though - I hope it will be fixed now!
