Product Description:

Sputnix is an unsupported, unofficial "satellite" client for the music sharing website, Audiogalaxy.

Because it is unofficial and not based on publicly released specifications from Audiogalaxy, it may not work properly.

What's new in this version:

fixed bug where Sputnix wouldn't process conjoined messages - this caused the problem where login would stop at the "waiting to receive request for shares" state
added maintenance and reporting of shares - this allows multiple simultaneous downloads
as part of reporting of shares, added MP3 tag scanning and length calculation
in-progress downloads are now placed in "Sputnix Cache" folder in Library folder, and moved into final destination folder when complete
fixed bug where login button could be improperly disabled
now honors server's delete requests
automatically scrolls to bottom of list; scroll bar now properly updated

wanting to preview the music, but nothing comes out of my speakers. Easy work around is to open iTunes...but still... Maybe I need to reload it, but it's downloading right now so I don't want to quit...blah...

what it says. stable, fast and free. The only thing that would make it better is less dependency on the web site. Features like stopping a download can only be done through the web. Alternatives like this are awesome, especially compared to the spyware in the AG winblows clients.

I couldn't quite figure out how to get it doing stuff... But now I got it. And it's sweet. Top notch. BTW, what design ugliness? It looks functional. And best of all it _is_ functional! Four stars so they still have something to strive for :-D
