Product Description:

If people email you a WORD document (.doc or .DOC) and you don't have Microsoft "Word", it's a pain. DOCtor translates these files into PostScript - and, if you have Stone Design's PStill™ distillery installed (it's one of 7 apps in the Stone Studio™), automatically converts it further into Mac OS X friendy PDF.

the idea, one for the result... Unfortunately it does not translate the pictures in a Word document. Header and Footer are also missing. Would be a great tool to easely convert docs to pdfs if you would fix this... @abrody: "if you have Stone Design's PStil distillery installed [..], automatically converts it further into Mac OS X friendy PDF. Than you dont need a PS Printer

description is misleading, the long description is correct, and free GUI tools exist for converting ps2pdf (MacGSViewX; ghostscript + TeXShop); only some formatting is converted, though.

which is $80 will open DOC files and is a full fledged word processor without the cost of Microsoft Word.
