Product Description:

When clicked on in the toolbar of a Finder directory window, this script will open up a new terminal session in that directory. Very useful if you're often switching between manipulating files and directories graphically and with the command line. More information about recommended usage etc. can be found on the program's page.

What's new in this version:

  • A new icon to prevent confusion with the Terminal application.
  • Now handles 8-bit characters in file names and works better on non-English systems.
  • Has properties to set the terminal window width or height, as the user-selected settings in the Terminal preferences don't seem to be used when a terminal window is created via AppleScript.

...it fails when the name of the directory has characters not included in 7-bit ASCII (e.g. accented characters).

This toolbar script simply works, and it improves my productivity. Highly recommended.
