are slightly different to British Imperial Inches. It only makes a difference if you are working to very small tolerances, off the top of my head I think the difference is of the order of .001" but its worth bearing in mind.

distinguish between UK (imperial) volumes and US ones? _kung_foo_: I object to your xenophobic opinion. The UK uses metric and imperial measurements, FYI.
