This version doesn't work with my eMac 800Mz with OSX 10.4.11. The screen remains black while the coloured wheels spins. I am sorry I have overwritten the 1.1 version.

Probably missing something, but is this animated? will work with it when I have more time later, but it's just creating a fractal image and just sitting there.

If you like the beauty and symmetry of fractal images this is probably the best out there. Pretty quick on my Dual G5 1.8 but it can get the fans a whirring because of the processor load. All the images are great -- but every so often the perfect combination of color, structure, and symmetry can occur and for a moment it can take your breath away. Perhaps it's a little silly to be emotionally moved by a graphic image but in my view if a program can create such images it defines great software.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Stick updated it! Now I can save each transcendental experience with God as they happen, just as they were.
Fracture has become the newest legend for the Mac — up there with the Superbowl commercial of 1984.
The Automatic Version Checking works quietly behind the scenes to make sure each experience brings the cleanest high. Wooh.

If you like this app., try Trisection; it'll blow your mind, man.

God's face was revealed to me last night when meditating upon the geometric order and seeming randomness of Fracture. This paradox is an act of God. To show my new found faith, I put my hand against the screen and touched Him. I then bought a T-shirt from the developer -- StickSoftware.com. It is meet and right so to do.

It only took me a few hours of using this to send me to Kagi to pay for this great program. Not only are the fractals of the screensaver really beautiful, but the feature that allows me to save the gorgeous fractal images generated as JPGs or TIFFs is a way to make some gorgeous images for my desktop picture. I've alreay created 50 spectacularly beautiful images that I'm going to take to work to use for desktop images for my OS 9 machine. The images at the developers web site can give you a hint of the kind of beautiful images you can create and save. I highly recommend this program! Steve
