Hopalong CommentarySounds great but.... - Version: 1.1.0, 8/2/2006 04:17PM PST

sidetracked
...sadly seems to be broken in Tiger, as do a number of the earlier, non-GL screensavers. (At least on my iMac G5)

Hopalong CommentaryUh-oh, the prefs… - Version: 1.0, 11/5/2001 05:57AM PST

Pecos
panel... I'll make it more clear. By now, this is a brief explanation: fractals are generated doing a cerain number of iteration. "Cycles" are the number of iteration. Fore each iteration a certain number of point is drawn ("points per cycle"). Number of colors is obvious. Alpha is the alpha channel value (transparency) of each point. The initial color is choosen varying the hue (HSB model) randomly and leaving the other two parameters to max, successive colors have increasing hue. "Type" sets the fractal type (11 different fractal types); if more than 1 is selected, the type is randomly choosen between the selected ones. Simple and intuitive, isn'it ? Next release it will be more user-friendly, maybe with help pop-ups ? Let me know what do you prefer/think.
