Product Description:

Portraits & Prints 2.0 is your complete solution to turning digital photographs and scanned images into high quality prints. Digital photographs can be quickly imported and arranged for output on your color printer. Besides printing, you can develop your layouts at your favorite photo center or email your prints to friends. Special tools for modifying each photo's brightness, contrast, sharpness, and saturation as well as red eye reduction, cropping, and rotation make it easy to fix up your photos. Add balloon captions or text to truly personalize your photos.

With Portraits & Prints 2.0, you enhance photos, select a template, and then export or print the template. A template is a page layout where the photo's size and position are preset. All you do is select your photos and they are automatically added to the template. Portraits & Prints comes with many standard templates or you can download hundreds of free templates directly from the Template Manager.

What's new in this version:

  • Extending selection in the catalog drawer by SHIFT-CLICK now works.
  • Metadata and EXIF information is now refreshed when an external name change is detected for a file in the catalog.
  • Graphic objects in templates are now properly stored on the system pasteboard when copying them and thus may be shared with other applications.
  • Fixed a problem that could produce random results when extracting certain EXIF information from some photographs.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Would not enjoy my digital cameras as much, could not print multiple photos with such ease without this program. No question it is the best Mac add on I have on my computer. Thank you. I just graded up to the 2.2.1 version and have not used it yet, but have enough confidence it will be excellent also.

BUT, still think you should add a text box to you templates......

Portraits & Prints ReviewGreat Update - Version: 2.0, 11/18/2004 06:25PM PST

Because I had both P&P and Template Maker, I was eligible for a free upgrade.
I installed P&P and was looking to see how I could import my old templates, that I made; and lo and behold they were already included.
I suppose as iPhoto gets better this is less needed, but when it comes to printing out something just the way I want it, it's always back to P&P.
I've done things like a mini-scrapbook for my husband.
Also, I was able to save to CD, by moving all the photos I wanted on the CD, and then moving my P&P pages to the CD; making sure it found all the photos so it is all in one place.
