Great Update

Because I had both P&P and Template Maker, I was eligible for a free upgrade.
I installed P&P and was looking to see how I could import my old templates, that I made; and lo and behold they were already included.
I suppose as iPhoto gets better this is less needed, but when it comes to printing out something just the way I want it, it's always back to P&P.
I've done things like a mini-scrapbook for my husband.
Also, I was able to save to CD, by moving all the photos I wanted on the CD, and then moving my P&P pages to the CD; making sure it found all the photos so it is all in one place.

but it's ok now. I was sent a stuffed version that opened up pronto.
I think my system has a small nervous breakdown once in a while & has to be humoured.
It's great to have the new 4x6 template.

For some reason .dmg files will not mount on some users systems. Of the thousands of downloads we get a handful of users have reported this. Until we figure out what is wrong, just email me and I will send you a stuffed version of the file.

BTW: In just over a month a major update is coming, you won't be disappointed.

As you might expect, each application has capabilities not available on the other one. I purchased ImageBuddy when it was first released. I was disapponted rather shortly thereafter, when Portraits & Prints came out. I considered it superior to ImageBuddy, and so I purchased it also. Both applications have since gone through several iterations and vast improvements since then.
Portraits & Prints has simple enhancement tools as well as a series of templates (more being available, or you can create your own), while ImageBuddy allows for greater options for photographic arrangement and even graphics and type. You want to make Christmas photo cards or simply print sheets of 4 x 6 images and get rid of red eye? It's fast and easy and, if fast and easy is what you want, Portraits & Prints may be your choice. If you want to lay out your page like a scapbook, with drop shadows and captions—or possibly a feathered frame effect—after you've run them through Photoshop, for example, then ImageBuddy may be your best option. I allows for greater flexibility and customization. It even allows for manual placement of images. ImageBuddy also does batch processing of photos.
Both applications are relatively inexpensive, and because they're both shareware, you can give each a test run. Then you be the judge. I use both on quite frequently, and I guess which one I use depends on the task at hand. I am not sorry I purchased either one.

Tried to update to 1.3.3 but the .dmg file won't mount or open. Other .dmg files open fine.

How does this program compare to ImageBuddy?
BUT, still think you should add a text box to you templates......
