Problems with NVidia 6800 - Version: 1.1b3, 11/3/2004 08:43PM PST

I purchased a dual 2.5Ghz G5. Until my NVidia 6800 Ultra DDL card arrived, I had a Radeon 9600 unstalled. This app worked beautifully with the Radeon 9600. Once I installed the NVidia 6800, the application quits with the following error: "GLQuake has encountered an error. No GL renderers found." This is the only application I have that hasn't worked beautifully with the Nvidia 6800 card.

loss of frames in action areas. When playing Quake TF, I can handle maybe one, spam-free, opponent. Add another and the fps drops to nill and I cannot move. G4 534Mhz, 384MB RAM, ATI Radeon 32MB DDR. With an old-school client, I had no problems. OS X clients seem to lack the ability to handle more than one enemy at a time.
I love Quake…

1, everything about it, however with this osx version, the mouse support is seriously pathetic. It's like something types "sensitivity .002" in my console in the middle of gameplay if I ever A) Am walking around a 'large' area, or B) Am "fighting something." The fact that I play this multiplayer quite frequently causes a great annoyance, due to the fact I cannot aim properly, nor can I optimize player movement since it relies heavily on the mouse. My setup is a Dual 500mhz G4, 786 megs RAM, and a Radeon 8500. I'm QUITE sure that's enough to run this game without a problem, yet it seems something is still amiss.. Thanks for trying though.
