Product Description:

EasyDivx is a simple utility to make playable versions of DivX movies on MacOS X 10.1. QuickTime has problems playing the MP3 track on AVI movies, and an utility called getMp3 can be used to get the sound track. EasyDivx extracts the soundtrack and replaces the defunct soundtrack by the working one, and save the result as a movie using references.

What's new in this version:

  • now install ffmpeg if needed
  • getMp3 is integrated (no need to install it)
  • corrected bugs with special characters in the name of the DivX
  • corrected bugs with long file names
  • AppleScript code improved
  • if there's a problem extracting the soundtrack, EasyDivx now informs you and put your original DivX movie back

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.2
  • Mac OS X 10.1

Additional Requirements:

do not be exporting anything out of Quicktime Pro when you run EasyDivx because EasyDivx needs to open Quicktime to set up the files correctly. Great program!

I said, it DOES NOT split your original .avi file, which is in the Sources folder, by the name "Movie.avi". This is the EXACT SAME original, just with a new name...
