documentation about this update (?!), but I _did_ stumble across a new entry in Applications after installation (maybe it was there before, and I just hadn't noticed) -> Epson Print Utility. The menu includes the Epson Status Monitor, Nozzle check, Head cleaning and Print head alignment. All features work well - the one drawback is there's still no support for duplex printing as there is with OS 9! The ball is so close to the end-zone -> please deliver a little documentation and duplex printing!

I'll go back to using Gimp Print as it seems to work with all my epson printers. It seems a real cheek though, that a company as big as epson leave it to a free/share ware organization to provide real control for their printers. I wonder if they would invalidate their guarantees if they knew I was not using their driver? ...sneaky...

1.3aD driver with no hitch - don't notice any difference in function or interface. I am disappointed that I still don't have the "manual-duplex" printing option which has always been available in the OS9 driver. This would allow me to re-insert a document to make a double-sided print.
