Product Description:

MacSFV is an SFV checker for the Macintosh, the first such tool for Mac. It is a RAR archive package verifier. You drop an SFV file from a RAR package onto the program and it will scan the package for you. A report will be generated that contains the file names that are corrupt or missing. You can then set about replacing/redownloading the faulty files in question. You may also generate SFV files by dropping folders and files into a blank SFV document.

What's new in this version:

  • Ability to create SFV files by dropping folders onto the app icon or file list
  • Multiple document/multithreaded interface
  • Speed improvement over previous release
  • Not based on previous builds, all known bugs are fixed
  • Panther interface enhancements used if present

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2

Additional Requirements:

Nice to see an upgrade to the product (w00t no more quits when checking lots of archives) and the rants ;-)
Only room for improvement that i can see is popup to show that all crc'ed ok (or not) at the end of checking and maybe a batch encoder to drop multiple folders onto.

Weird, I left another comment yesterday, but it is missing.

Anyway, the problem is fixed, and it is working great now.

For reference: I'm using it on 10.3.1 with no quits or crashes.
Thanks for the quick fix!

Thanks for the quick fix. It is correctly identifying good and bad rar files now. It's fast too.

BTW, I'm running it in 10.3.1., no weird quits here so far.
