Product Description:

HotApp is a powerful application launcher and more. It lets you control various elements of Mac OS 10 directly from the keyboard. HotApp offers different categories of actions to execute : from launching application, to controlling iTunes, to system action (like sleep, restart, shutdown), to keyboard remapping, to dynamic pasting, to floating palette and much more. HotApp install itself as a new preference pane, and run in background while waiting for keyboard shortcut to trigger an action.
HotApp has a small memory footprint, and improve overall your OS 10 experience.
HotApp can be tested on any OS X version (10.2 and above) without a license for 3 hours or 20 hot keys activations

What's new in this version:

compiled and tested on 10.4 - Tiger,

screensaver system action is now working as expected on Tiger (previosuly broken on Tiger),

checkbox to hide dock when activating application,

improved system item : volume up & down : exact simulation of a pro/extended keyboard,

added backup/restoration settings from HotApp either on a file or on .Mac iDisk,

improved internal data structures

It's working with mac OS X 10.5.5.

It's the first app that is capable to do something with my function Key F13 to F19.

Trusoft seems to be defunct; the site is down and the email address in unreachable. That means the end of HotApp, which is a pity. I have used it for a long time but its functionality is now pretty compromised; I am finding that 'dynamic paste' only works if you go to the HotApp preference pane first! I am going over to Typinator instead although this is only good for the text expansions and furthermore requires the use of abbreviations rather than hot keys. But it is fast and reliable.

I wrote the developer, and got this reply:

"we're still here... but we're busy doing a lot of consulting work and so spend less time updating the site... HotApp is compatible with 10.5 :-)"
