Works fine for me. (OSX 10.4.11).
Simple and fast.
Save to txt file is helpful. Wish there were more save-able file formats, though.
This will provide a huge improvement when I am archiving folders!

I couldn't get PW to do anything at all. A quick trip to the developer's FAQ solved it (turn off the preference to remember Page Setup settings temporarily.) They're working on fixing it for the next release.
I'm just glad to be able to print file listings, which has been missing ever since OS 9.

Note: This is not a free upgrade from earlier versions of advanced.
Apparently, registrations numbers issued prior to Sept 07 do not work.

Should we assume that this is another abandoned product on VT? There have been no updates in one year and nine months. Quite some time ago, many months ago in fact, I requested to the author that he/she add the option to save the file list as a plain text document, so that it can be edited and customized in a regular text editor such as BBEdit. This option still has not been added. As such, as much as I would like to use this program, sadly, it still remains useless to me, as I don't want a PDF list; I want a plain text list. Developer, are you still listening and reading here???

The one thing I need it to do it doesn't. Why isn't there anything out there that will print the comments field?

Definitely met my need to list folder contents, why didn't Apple include this?
Caveat: I'm writing this in the first flush of accomplishing what I set out to do just after downloading the software; which automatically ran it in Advanced mode. Haven't seen how it does in basic mode yet, waiting to see what comes out once my 30-day free trial of Advanced mode expires…

Trying to "Upgrade to Print Window Advanced" from within the program takes you to SWSSoftware.com (http://www.swssoftware.com/feedback/register.html), which gets you to a Network Solutions page “This domain pending renewal”. Try it! Otherwise I love this thing. He should have been charging for it for a long time. Now he only charges you if you want to do really advanced sorting. Very fair.

Overall, a great app! Why they took the ability to print windows out with OS X is beyond me? This goes beyond that anyway.
Worked flawlessly in Panther, but do get some bugs with Tiger. For instance when I use the OS software updater and click restart after downloads, the system is unable to force Print Window to quit. I get a "Critical Error - Unexpected Nil Value was returned".
Had a coule other issues with it too but don't remember the specifics. I had to throw it out and reinstall it once.

The tabs mark have to be Before the items to work : one tab for one level, two tabs for second level... and so on.
It would be good to correct this small bug.
Meanwhile, you can edit the text file and replace one space by a tab... (but if you have spaces in your file name :+(((((
