and they told me they won't be making OS X drivers for the ProTV. (Probably because it now competes with some other pro product they started to sell recently.) totally sucks arse. The previous version ran great in OS 9. When I bought the card a few years ago pre-OS X release, I suspected something like this might happen. Third party drivers anyone?? I wish BTV could talk to it, I am almost certainly buying it anyway for my webcam, BTV works great!

BTV Pro X ReviewTryed out BTV… - Version: 5.4, 4/9/2002 12:01PM PST

pro 5.4 in OSX with IOExperts USB cam driver & ToUcam Pro. Very dissapointed. Not able to capture video - only stills. I get the errror message when wanting to capture video: 'No codec. Error code: 999,-8961. The app. kills the sound for seconds at every start. Looses the video & sound preferences resulting the short circuit sound wellcoming you every time starting the app with webcam+built-in mic. Try to change anything in the preferences, and everything goes just wrong... I'm not able to change the size of video without loosing the picture most of the time, only160x120 size works. Do I do something wrong? Before this is fixed: no cash from me... The same problem with BTV also. If I owned a PC, none of these problems would even exist because PHILIPS supports Windows (of course)... MAC has become a joke-designer-trash-plastic-flash-junk... pretty DIGITAL HUB!
