SilverFast Ai is high-end scan and imaging software from LaserSoft Imaging which is now available for newer Minolta film scanners for Macintosh. SilverFast Ai combines an intuitive user interface with highest professionality. What's new in this version:

Negafix/Jobmanager When executing one or more entries in a job, it could happen that the Negativ filmtype of the job entry was ignored and the type currently chosen in SilverFast was used instead. On Mac this happened only when the Negativ Curves Panel was active, on Windows this happened always - Fixed.
Wrong hue value in HSL mode in densitometer - fixed.
New Welcomescreen and Update Reminder feature introduced.
TIFF files written by SilverFast were not compatible to the File Info module of
Photoshop CS (illegal document and artist name embedded)-> fixed.
Bugfix for Photoshop CS installation. (All projects)
Restart not necessary anymore after changing Filmadapters.
New: SFLauncher replaced SFApp

after several tries, reinstalls, etc. plus it costs $100 more than this site says I have to say this software is totally unacceptable. it is total ca-ca!

not sure if it is the OS X thing, but it is very distressing not be able to use an expensive piece of equipment.

Thanks LaserSoft! for supporting the Kodak RFS 3600 in OS X. SilverFast Ai6 is a great product in OS 9, registered user of Ai6 will want to download the non demo version from silverfast.com. version 6.0.2D35 is a demo version 6.0.2r35 is the full version. works great tested a few scans, OS X ROCKS
