Product Description:

iSwipe searches AND downloads from the Web, and the FTP, Hotline, Napster, OpenNapster and Gnutella networks. It also searches the Carracho network. It includes a download manager, featuring retries and resumable downloads, and 4 slots each for FTP, HTTP, Hotline and Napster downloads (Gnutella downloads use a HTTP slot). It also includes an AutoSearch feature, which keeps a list of those elusive files that you want and can never find online.

What's new in this version:

  • Search/download from iTunes shared libraries!! (Unfortunately, Apple have just disabled this feature in iTunes 4.0.1. Oh well, should be a few tunes around for a while yet)
  • OpenFT fixed (plugin updated to v0.0.9)
  • iTunes and FastTrack now refresh database automatically during Idle time (leave alone for several minutes and it will auto refresh)
  • Sharing preference now remembered
  • New icon :-)

I have given up on iSwipe. Still not Intel ready. Limewire is a much better alternative.

I can't believe it. I tried it several years ago and couldn't get it to work. Apparently things have not changed much.
