On his web page, the developer, John Carlsen, says, "eMessage Archiver (eMA) will no longer be updated or supported by me. I have moved on to other projects, unrelated to software development." (7/1/09)

eMessage Archiver CommentaryNice once, now apparently abandoned - Version: 4.10b3, 12/23/2006 12:36PM PST

This was once a great utility, but there hasn't been a new beta, much less a new release version, in well over a year. Though the developer says that he hasn't abandoned the project, the lack of any new releases and his very low level of participation in the Yahoo groups for the software indicate otherwise. At this point I've given up waiting and will be moving on to other solutions. Too bad, as nothing I've found works as well with as many email applications.

John, if you read this, _please_ either get a new beta out, or just admit that you've given up on the project.

Have been using several free versions over the years and have been working with the latest paid ($15) version for half year now. Great utility and a thanks to the developer, who has done a great job. One has to get use to the User Interface so. Have now archived more than 50,000 emails into eMA. Feature: import of emails into the application and freeing-up Entourage, Mail and others from old emal. Great for search and find later on. Suggestion: may need a feature to save html emails as well as selected attachements to folders.. eMa is highly recommenable.
