Product Description:

Asteroid Storm is an Asteroids-like game with 32-bit 3d graphics and nasty enemy AI. The game contains an infinite amount of computer-generated levels as well as several levels with written introductions that tell you the story of your voyage into the storm.

What's new in this version:

There is now an OS X version of Asteroid Storm included.
Asteroid Storm will now remember preferences and high scores after quitting using command-Q.
The sound level will no longer be set to maximum when AS starts up the first time, but will remain the same.
When the invincibility is about to run out an alarm will sound to warn the player.

game ? huh??? it will have you thinking that it is easy but it sneaks up on you and then kills you if you love the so called slow play as others have called this game just try to beat it if you can.. i have tried many times and know what is going to happen but it still beats me i guess it also could be better if you could save the level you get killed on but it is still a great game and it does not have any faults that i can find. this game is what should be what some of the so called top games should be and that is easy to remember which keys do what and good no matter if you are 6 or 60 it is free so try it

of that old Mac classic Asterax. A bit slow, but that's most likely because its written in REAlbasic. Ok, so I don't know that for sure, but the appearance of the watch cursor when it slows down is a bit of a giveaway (You might want to try a #PRAGMA DisableAutoWaitCursor to deal with that). Given that it is an RB app, how about a carbon version? There's no point having a cross platform compiler and not using it :-) You should probably recompile it quite often anyway as newer versions of RB are more stable. Nice graphics btw.
