Allowed the latest auto update (4.1) to proceed from prompt by MenuCalendarClock. System froze (running but very, very slow). Had to force shutdown then restart and disable MenueCalendarClock to get a working system back.

Not sure why others are having issues, but I downloaded and installed the new version (4.1) without issue. Quit the old version first, then installed the new. Simple as could be!

Version 4.1 locked up most of CPU while installing and relaunching. It finally became inactive. Had to force quit and install version 4.0. Wait for a fix.

MenuCalendarClock for iCal ReviewBest of its kind-Updated Review - Version: 4.0, 9/12/2009 09:45PM PST

I have had MenuCalendarClock for a couple of years and yes the upgrade was free and even automatically remembered my registration number this time.
One thing, if you have a problem or any questions after installing DO NOT assume that the email address from the distributing company is the developer's, like I had done originally. My last review I stated they never contacted me however I found my mistake and emailed the address on the site and got my answer. My guess is the distributing company doesn't forward questions about the product to the developers. Anyway, have used it for a long time and love it. Now that I have it fully registered I am enjoying the versatility of the app. a lot.

MenuCalendarClock for iCal ReviewMore money for old functionality - Version: 4.0, 9/11/2009 07:50AM PST

I've had it with these thieves. They now want money for functionality which I already paid for. I paid for version 3, which could create new to-dos. Now in the new version, to do that they want more money. Forget it.

MenuCalendarClock for iCal ReviewExcellent - Version: 4.0, 9/10/2009 04:15AM PST

I have been using MenuCalendarClock for several years and it is so intuitive that I sometimes forget that it isn't part of the OS. Haven't had a single issue with it and I jump to it often throughout my workday.

No comment on the new features in 4.0 as I haven't used it enough yet but simply as a utility I find it to be a must have.

Anyone know if this is a free upgrade? Their website is silent on that point.
