MenuCalendarClock for iCal ReviewGood Idea but..... - Version: 3.1.8, 4/6/2009 09:39PM PST

I like the product. I have used it for years and find it useful but Customer Service is NONEXISTENT! When the CalendarMenuClock first came out, I tried to purchase a license and the credit card was declined. I tried to contact them for months and months to find out why and I finally received an email saying I had used a card that had expired but they could do nothing because they use a payment service that did not tell them when this kind of thing happened. That's lame.

Fast forward to two weeks ago, I purchased a license for the new 10.5 version and I cannot register it nor can I use the benefits of the purchased version. I have sent three emails to them in the last two weeks and still nothing. They have my money but I can't use their software.

I do not recommend this company but as I said I like the free version of the product.

Slows down and even makes my system [PowerBook G4 with 10.5.6] unresponsive. If only High Priority were compatible with Leopard! sigh...

MenuCalendarClock for iCal Troubleshooting ReportNeed help and Can't Get - Version: 3.1.6, 12/21/2008 10:09PM PST

I'm using version 3.1.6 and have emailed the developer repeatedly to no avail: I love this app except since I upgraded to this version, I cannot use the birthday calendar feature.

When I first set it up, it works fine but the next time I restart/login menucalendarclock hangs, failing to fully launch and using up most of the computer's resources. The only solution is to dump my preferences file, force quit the app, and then restart it.

It's very frustrating now that I have an iPhone and want to sync my birthdays calendar.
