This software is nice and simple to use... unfortunately it crashes as commented by sinebubbleXLÂ , who explains how to resolve the problem.
Hope the developer can do something.
Thanks to developer Peter Ammon.

Why JPEGDeux crashes - Version: 1.7b, 10/28/2004 03:56PM PST

The crashing is caused when the application cannot find the images left in the slideshow window from previous viewing. If you leave images listed in the window and then delete or move them, you'll get a crash the next time JPEGDeux starts up. Since the image locations are stored in the preferences file, deleting the prefs "fixes" the crashing. Solution is to clear out the images in the slideshow window or keep your images in the same place. I tried to compile JPEGDeux on 10.3.5, but it failed with too many errors to get through. The solution could be pretty easy for the developer to fix, but I'm not sure he's around.

From now on the prefs won't be written when JPEGDeux closes, and therefore won't crash again.
Thanks for the quick and simple slideshow viewer.
BTW - You can simply drag and drop a folder of photos, or a multiple selection of photos into its icon in the dock.
