if the guy who designed this can't even spell "Calendar" I'm not going to be using it. And clicking on the different "views" options does nothing.
I really liked this But - Version: 3.2.2, 6/8/2009 04:25PM PST

I really liked this program because it was very similar to what I had been using for years now. However I encountered some things that really turned me off.
One --- The Price Seemed a bit steep, but if it was going to work the way I wanted, then ok I would have paid it.
Two --- the documentation which is not there. Yes there is help in the "help menu", but very inadequate when one is trying to work out --- how something works, and that something is going to be used for years to come . You want to get it just right. The help menu is great for minor issues and problems but not for major set up. Still I was going to work with it and see if I could work out some more as I went along.
Three -- The Straw that broke the Camel's back. I am very well aware that Canada is viewed as an afterthought to many developers. I tried very hard to work out how one would make a set of "holiday dates" for Canada. The lack of documentation came into play again. When I saw I was doing it all wrong and noticed the availability of other nations. That was it !!! I uninstalled the program and I shall go back to using the free Mom's Calendar which works sorta OK, not great.
If you the developer read this comment Sir I hope you realize I was offended by this. We Canadians are 35 million strong. We are a very high tech group, just one example. The US space program would still be on the ground. Canada provided the Canada Arm plus a few astronauts .

when you click on a date in the calendar a window or larger text box should open instead of the little text box within the calendar. I don't know, seems handy but the UI feels like system 6 or 7.
Needs a makeover.

Superb implementation of uC! I used uC for years; it's simple, sophisticted, comprehensive, private and secure! Perfect for personal, professional or SOHO use. Well worth its nominal shareware fee.

I have been using this application for almost 10 years and still find it the most simple and best calendar there is for my use. I downloaded this update and installed it on my G4 Laptop 1.67 running 10.4.10 with out a hitch. It saved all my entrys and I did not need to re-enter my SN. Excellent program. They do not make changes often.
Won't open without entering registration no. every time!

I have been using uCalendar since 1998. I like it. Complementing MS Entourage, I use it to make a note of upcoming arts events, a task which, because it’s simple to use and can easily be configured, it performs very well.
However, after installing v.3.1.3 it forced me to enter my registration number every time I opened it. I wrote to WAKI Riuzo about this and asked him/her to fix it. I got no response and, having downloaded and installed v.3.1.4, I am disappointed to find that this has not been fixed. It’s a pain.

This is the wrong link. I downloaded the link from this page, but it gave me uCalendar 3.0.3. When I went to the developer's page, it gave me 3.1, but the dmg wouldn't mount.

I've been using various releases of uCalendar for over two years and I find it is the best PIM for my purposes that is available. One reason that I like it is that it's a lot easier to read than iCal. And it keeps your information PRIVATE, because it does NOT actively interface to the Internet! A really nice, stable, application with features that are easy to use. Some may balk at the price, but for others uCalendar is an excellent choice. Version 3.0 is a mature application incorporating the best set of features and functions to date; all wrapped up in a neat GUI that is a pleasure to use! uCalendarX is the app that iCal should have been!
