What's new in this version:
Improvements
- Auto-Frame Finding: On the "Auto" tab of the "Options" dialogue a new feature can be found to adjust the inset that is applied to frames created by the "Find Frames" tool.
- General: Dragging a file into SilverFast's preview window could crash the application - fixed.
- JobManager: In the JobManager's copy dialogue, it is now possible to copy i/SRD settings, too.
- General: Minor adjustment in calculating and visualisation of the lightest and darkest pixels when frames are rotated.
- SCC: In rare cases, SCC could crash the scanning process - fixed.

support in OS X!!!!! It's been too long. Really. This is a fine product, but who has a SCSI scanner using OS X??? I'll say it again and again, but if VueScan can support FireWire, why can't SilverFast? I've been waiting to upgrade this product--looks like I'll keep waiting.
It's great! Simple. Fast. Esat to install and setup. Calibration is easy as clicking OK. Every one of my Studio guys works it fine.
I haven't bothered upgraded latest few versions because the offer TOA??? proofing stuff, I just need a scanner.
I also don't bother with de-screening, I find it much easier to scan to a seperate drive for speed and scann at 600DPI or higher, then blur.
