Product Description:

MoonDock, a lightweight application designed for displaying up-to-date images of the Moon phase in your system MacOS X Dock or as a floating Moon image on your desktop. MoonDock also enables you to examine phase information for specific dates and times between 2001 and 2015. If you are an amateur astronomer, learning about the night sky or would just like to have the Moon on your desktop this is for you.
  • Displays current Moon phase image in your Dock and Desktop
  • Provides popup information panel of Moon data
  • Allows custom viewing of Moon images/data (2001-2015)
  • Optimized for minimum resource usage

Great application and it looks good on the desktop. Fun. My only wish is to not have it always in the dock.

This should be donationware, not freeware. The artist who created MoonDock should be rewarded. MoonDock hasn't been updated in almost a year - because it's already a perfect little app. Don't change a thing.
New users: Don't forger to add the beautiful lunar transparency to you desk top as well. I enjoy floating the moon above other extraterrestrial images on my desktop.

options and graphics are superb. MoonDock and EarthGlobe are now both permanent residents of my desktop. Exellent work, please keep it up!
