Great application and it looks good on the desktop. Fun. My only wish is to not have it always in the dock.

This should be donationware, not freeware. The artist who created MoonDock should be rewarded. MoonDock hasn't been updated in almost a year - because it's already a perfect little app. Don't change a thing.
New users: Don't forger to add the beautiful lunar transparency to you desk top as well. I enjoy floating the moon above other extraterrestrial images on my desktop.

this app, but have known about EarthGlobe before. I like them both. If you're looking for real-time moon phases reflected in your menu bar, try MoonMenu. It's been around since OS 8, and it's been updated for X. It works beautifully in my jag menu bar...and you can even control the contrast of the moon. If you haven't tried it, it's also worth a look.

it! Now I want it to turn like the EarthGlobe app when I hold down the Apple key! though! In fact I want it to revolve about the earth when I hold down the option key! And I want the shadows to relate to eachother. Maybe the answer would be to combine the two into one app. Just great!

suggestion, it would be neat if I had a little moon menu icon in my menubar showing a little phase of the moon circle. (my Dock is pretty full, but I still have space in my menubar.) That would be really cool.
