Pitbull Pro Reviewnever broke a download - Version: 2.4.4, 7/5/2004 10:00AM PST

with my dialup modem that is slow, it never broke a download. Even when I swaped out a disc drive. It is worth the money even if it can,t do everything. Does very well in the backround with low or high cpu settings. Some of the support is dropped from its site but you still get a email response.

I wanted to give this a try to see if it's worth buying, but I'm really annoyed by the way the author 'encourages' users to register during trial period. Every x minutes you hear the stupid reminder sound, icons pop up, windows pop up, ... I can live with the bugs I encountered (which software hasn't?) but these aggressive 'reminders' are over the top. What's next, erasing the harddrive if you don't register? Gee...
