Product Description:

Keep-It-Up relaunches applications that crash, it can restart the Mac on a regular basis and it can monitor free disk space. It also allows you to remotely manage and monitor your Mac (server) using a webbrowser. KIU automounter will mount network volumes at startup and remount these volumes if the connection to the server is interrupted. KIU can check if certain Network Services are still available by polling the network port and checking for a valid response. In case of failure, it can notify you via e-mail, relaunch the corresponding application or restart the Mac. This way you can monitor your webserver, ftpserver or application server (e.g. FileMaker Pro) and check if it is still serving data and doesn't hang.

What's new in this version:

  • KIU automounter now supports CIFS shares.
  • KIU can now open Keynote presentations

Keep-It-Up-X CommentarySending mail with authentication? - Version: 4.0.1, 10/19/2008 01:38PM PST

I am testing Keep-it-up-X on our mail server so I am using a third-party email account and mail server to send messages from Keep-it-up. All of the third-party mail servers that I have accounts with (gmail, mac.com, etc.) require secure authentication for sending mail. There does not seem to be an option for sending authenticated mail in your software. Suggestions?

Keep-It-Up-X ReviewSimple but absolutely perfect program! - Version: 3.5, 5/7/2007 09:05AM PST

This program is perfect for those watching their servers, programs, etc. via the web. You can launch programs, check on computers, quit and restart them, both hard and soft restarts, etc. I cannot say enough about how easy this program is to use and its total usefulness. There is nothing out there that even comes close, even at a much higher price. Thank you Karl for maintaining this program.
