Driver Compatibility
At the time of the release of this driver, there were only a few ADB drivers available. Mac OS X includes an ADB mouse and keyboard driver. Also Kensington has released a version of their Mouseworks driver (http://www.kensington.com/) for their trackballs and mice. The iMate OS X driver is currently compatible with with the built in mouse and keyboard drivers as well as the Kensington Mouseworks driver.
Mac OS X also includes ADB drivers for the audio controls on the Apple Adjustable keyboards and AV displays as well as drivers for geometry and calibration adjustments for the AppleVision and ColorSync displays. However these drivers do not appear to function in the current Mac OS X release (10.0.4). They do not work with either the iMate or built in ADB (on B&W G3s) at this time.
Fixes/additions for 1.5
- Sleep should now work
- Generally more robust
- Added new User Client code for applications to communicate with ADB devices
- OS 9 ADB drivers and applications that communicate with ADB cannot be used with the current iMate OS X driver. This feature may be added in future versions of the driver.
Bitterly disappointed

isaacdegozaru"The iMate is not supported in OS 10.4. Apple has removed more and more
support for serial device in every iteration of the OS. If it is not working
for you, I suggest you return it to the vendor from whom you purchased for a
refund.
Thanks"
They are now turning down customers??? This has been such a waste of time and money for me. All I was connecting to the machine was a simple keyboard and mouse.
And here is my response
"http://griffintechnology.com/support/imate/IMATE-012.php
Here it says that the iMate is supported in OSX. Why wasn't it stated that it isn't supported in OSX 10.4?
I spent more money on shipping the iMate than the iMate cost me! I am not about to spend the same amount of money to send it back. Very very disappointing. OSX 10.4 has been out for about a year now, why hasn't this support issue been stated? Why hasn't the software been updated? Can the iMate driver not include numerous drivers for various serial drivers? or guide us to a site that has these available for download? This is Griffin Technology's job to do as supplier of this kind of device. To keep support for it ongoing.
I need a reply, or a direct refund, you can pay for postage."

Anyone here know what files need to be deleted to uninstall this software? I had the iMate working under 10.5 untill the drivers were installed, now it just causes the computer to stop responding to any kind of keyboard or mouse untill I reboot it when I have the imate hooked up.
