Product Description:

Vanity Dockling is a small dock utility which shows in the dock how much time passed since your last startup. It also records your longest uptime yet.

What's new in this version:

  • Added menu items to enable vanity's fonts to be displayed in white (on black or transparent background).
  • Added a menu item with the actual uptime, for people whose Dock is to small to read the Dock icon.
  • As a result of this, some localizations have been redone by myself with poor results. Any willing person can just send corrections to me.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2
  • Mac OS X 10.1
  • Mac OS X 10.0

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.0.4 or higher

Vanity Dockling ReviewSmall numbers - Version: 1.9.1, 5/12/2005 04:52PM PST

Cute idea for a program with nice implementation options (white on black, black on white, transparency for both...;) but, the numbers are so small as to make the program useless.

In the next version I'd really like to see the ability to adjust the size of the numbers.

Vanity Dockling only does one thing, but does it really well. I have been using it since it came out.

Glad to see that it has been updated for Tiger!

icon graphism: numbers are too small. Why not something like that: top= DD middle= HH botom= MM with big and red font - or only hours and minutes
