not alone! I've spent days trying off and on to install the "latest" MS driver for my Intellimouse (Intellipoint or whater the hell it is) trackball which I'm so wedded to that I just may quit trying to use OS X until a driver shows up. (Talk about needing a "designated driver", this was driving me to drink" While I'm at it, perhaps my expectations were too low, but I'm stunned by the elegance and almost musical gracefullness of OS X. It's a good thing I signed the usual MacUser agreement never to read a manual when I bought the original Mac, because the one I got with the disk is incomprehensible. Now, if I just had something other than MIE 5.1 to run on it.

is true, but the fact that a driver and Control App is even out is a huge difference from having NOTHING. Even if it's just having a simple program that shows you have support in the works.
