Toast Titanium Commentary10.0.3 - Version: 10.0.3, 10/21/2009 07:39AM PST

I upgraded from 10.0.2 to the 10.0.3 and I couldn't burn myself a copy of Snow White, I had to use my old Toast nine to do it. I don't know if that was a fluke or if it was in the update. I didn;t have that problem before the 10.0.3 update.

The Version tracker WEBPAGE lists a new update: Toast Titanium - 10.0.3

I have 10.0.2 installed on an Intel Mac Pro tower running Mac OS X Snow Leopard

I select "check for updates" in help menu and it says "No updates available"

The Version Tracker APPLICATION does NOT find that I need an update.

Ought I download the update from Version Tracker and install?

Toast Titanium ReviewGOOD ! - Version: 10.0.3, 10/9/2009 06:00PM PST

So far so good - no problems. Yes it did take some time to download this big file, but other apps are also updated, like CD Spin Doctor, etc. (Snow Leopard-10.6.1)

Toast Titanium CommentaryWhy not make an updater? - Version: 10.0.3, 10/9/2009 04:08PM PST

How about making an updater? Every time Roxio updates Toast, the updates are huge because they simply put all the files on a disc image to replace the folder of files in the Applications folder.

Toast Titanium Troubleshooting Reportis 10.0.3 for OS X 10.5+ only? - Version: 10.0.3, 10/9/2009 07:56AM PST

R. Lynn Rardin
Version 10.0.2 worked fine on my system running 10.4.11, but when I attempt to start up 10.0.3, I get the following message:

You cannot use the application "Toast Titanium" with this version of OS X.

Does 10.0.3 require 10.5+? Or am I bumping up against some other limitation (graphics card, etc.)?

Toast Titanium Commentary10.0.3 Installation - Version: 10.0.3, 10/9/2009 07:53AM PST

Just finished installing the 10.0.3 update without any problems. Not disputing what others have experienced. I was surprised that after finding the update at VT, when I booted up Toast and clicked on check for updates the message that resulted was that I had the latest version which was 10.0.2 and therefore incorrect. Thanks to VT, I knew that the check for updates was incorrect. In any case, the huge program is installed without incident and working as needed.
Best,
Richard

Could someone explain to me, if you have downloaded it / use it, why the 10.0.3 update is in excess of 800MB?? I was always used to the fact that Toast was bloatware at a couple of hundred MB, but 819MB is ridiculous!

Given that to get similar functionality all i need is OS X (burning using the system) and MacTheRipper / Handbrake for encoding, and the last to add below 50MB to the system, i want to know what Toast have done.
