Product Description:

The Samsung Uproar SPH-M100 is a CDMA mobile phone that can also playback MP3s. The phone sports some neat features like an integrated headphone/headset, WAP support, voice memo and dialing, a calendar, world clock, a Li-ion battery, and even a handstrap, all in a little silver package.
It recieved a lot of press and hoopla when it was first lauched making most of the 'cool toys' lists that always come out over the winter holidays. The only drawback was that most of these lists seemed to be telling me that the requirements for being so tragically hip was a Windows machine. I have always firmly held the opinion that being hip shouldn't require an Microsoft OS (even though MS would love to have it that way). Being a Mac OS X user, I thought it was well within the potential of Mac user to be just as hip if not more hip. So I charged ahead, reverse engineered the USB protocol, and created a Mac OS X utility.

that UproarX had been updated. So I get to write the first review of the 1.x version. Awesome product. Kassima is super quick to reply to emails with questions, and the integration with iTunes playlists is slick. I just paypal'd $20 to Kassima a few minutes ago and you should too! He absolutely represents the best of the Mac Developer Community. I'm looking for the "insanely great" six star option, but all I can give is five stars... If you are lucky enough to have an Uproar, this is the coolest product going.

was available 2 years ago I probably wouldn't own Virtual PC to this day (don't get me wrong, I love having VPC around to get me through when I have to have windows compatibility without having to actually own one of those ugly boxes). I spent $200 to get this compatibility(and I have to boot into OS 9 to get that) and your giving it away! I'm "Pay Pal"ing you some $ right now my friend. UproarX is faster and more reliable than using RealJukeBox with Virtual PC and it has yet to tell me that my computer "has performed an illegal operation" and quit (which happens with alarming frequency when I have to dabble with the "dark side"(read as any version of "Windows" )). The only reason I give UproarX only 4 stars is because it can be a hassle to dig through the folders in my iTunes music folder to drag each mp3 to the UproarX window. You enable me to drag and drop from my iTunes playlists and I'll double my donation to $40 and give it 5 stars. Thanks Kasima, love ya man, this stuff is what the Mac community has always been about. Keep it up and I'll keep my wallet open.
