OrangeUSB 2.0 host controller CommentaryPanther helped - Version: 3.1.2, 12/10/2003 12:04AM PST

The card flies with Panther: no driver required for USB as fast as FireWire, or nearly so.

Sleep is still screwed up, but if you need the speed, maybe you're not the type to sleep.

OrangeUSB 2.0 host controller Commentary10.2.8 Doesn't help - Version: 3.1.2, 9/27/2003 07:26PM PST

Apple said that "third-party USB 2.0 cards" received improved support with 10.2.8, but not my Orange Micro. There's no speed improvement over USB 1.1 and even if I were willing to accept it as nothing more than an internal 1.1USB hub - which would actually be fairly handy - it still screws up sleep on my dual 1GHz. Maybe Panther will solve this, but I'm sceptical.

I too continue to have sleep problems with 3.1.2. I am very disappointed in OrangeMicro; this problem should have been fixed long before this, and it isn't fixed yet.
