Product Description:

Passenger is a server account creation and password generation tool that will import tab and comma-delimited text, ASIP 6.3 and Mac OS X XML and create account information and passwords for Mac OS X Server 10.2 and newer, Macintosh Manager, Master Key and Master Spell. It includes tools migrate account folders, set permissions in batch and Eudora client settings customization and distribution.

have used this program for nearly two years, and our school district for longer than that. To put it bluntly, I could not function with out it. With over 60 buildings that need to have accounts created every year, and multiple times during the year with transfers and the like. I can quickly pump a cvs file into Passenger and out comes the necessary file to import into WGM. it also does wonders if you have a teacher that unknowingly hits to copy down priviledges resetting everyones access to their home directory. 5 minutes later it can be fixed. The only thing that I wich it did, and I have communicated this to the author is to do Win2k account generation. I have something set up in Filemaker, but would love to incorporate it into Passenger. Overall Well worth twice what we paid for it.
